COMENSA (Coaches and Mentors of South Africa) invites its Strategic Partners and Key External Stakeholders to collaborate in the establishment of the COMENSA Africa Conference, a landmark event that will position COMENSA as a borderless, inclusive, and globally recognized professional body for Coaches, Mentors, and Supervisors across Africa and beyond. The 2026 inaugural and anniversary conference will also celebrate and spotlight the Research Body of Knowledge (BoK) emerging from South African universities, reflecting our country’s growing contribution to global coaching and mentoring scholarship. The conference aims to showcase thought leadership, strengthen industry collaboration, and enhance COMENSA’s visibility and influence across the African continent and internationally.
Purpose of the Conference
- Promote the concept of a Borderless COMENSA across Africa.
- Foster continental inclusivity, opening membership to Coaches, Mentors, and Supervisors throughout Africa.
- Enhance the international visibility and reputation of COMENSA.
- Stimulate dialogue, research, and collaboration within the coaching, mentoring, and supervision professions.
- Officially launch the expanded COMENSA identity: Coaches, Mentors, and Supervisors of Africa.
- Introduce the Industry Excellence Awards, celebrating outstanding achievements in categories such as Coach, Mentor, Supervisor, Trainer, Chapter, Presenter, and Researcher of the Year.
- Engage consumers of coaching and mentoring – both individuals and corporates – by demonstrating COMENSA’s value proposition, professional credibility, and ethical standards.
- Establish the COMENSA Africa Conference as an annual flagship event, providing an in-person platform for continuous engagement, networking, and professional growth across the ecosystem.
